A PGA Member since 1988, Scott has experience with players of all abilities from beginners to the expert player. Scott has attended numerous PGA sponsored teaching seminars, learning from some of the country’s top golf instructors. Teaching the fundamentals of the golf swing for beginners has been Scott’s specialty over the years. The proper grip, stance and set up have helped even the newest of golfers immediately enjoy the game.

Many of Scott’s students have gone on to win state and local tournaments as well as numerous club championships. The 2000 Illinois High School Boys Tournament even had two of Scott’s students finish 1st and 2nd in an exciting head to head match-up.

PGA Professional/General Manager  Scott Pless is a 1984 graduate of the University Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Recreation Management and a minor in Coaching of Athletics.  Scott was the captain of his successful college golf team his Junior and Senior season, earning All-Conference honors.  Scott competed in the NCAA Championships as well as several amateur events.  After turning professional in 1984 upon entering the PGA of America’s advanced training program, Scott has continued to compete on a professional level since that time.  Scott has participated in several Illinois Open Championships as well as the Illinois PGA Championship over the years with considerable success.  Elected to membership by the PGA in 1988, Scott is approaching quite a milestone of entering the PGA’s Quarter Century Club for 25 years of service to the golfing population.
